Scare Tactics

I saw a commercial today on TV about this Web site. The commerical showed kids looking scared and asking their parents if they were safe.

I can't believe King County would spend taxpayer's money on this horseshit. One of the responsibilities of a government is to protect its citizens, not to scare them when there is no threat! The probability of dying of cancer or in a car accident are thousands of times higher than in an earthquake or in an act of terrorism!
